Description

my jester babe's reference! *those two big fluffy things on the back of his clothing are NOT tails, but there just for a fancy decoration*

BIO:
Name: Blythe (no last name, likes being assigned nicknames) *Means 'carefree' or 'lively'/'in merriment'*
Gender/Sex: Male biologically, goes by he/him, they/them or even 'it' pronouns.
Voice: Roswaal L. Mathers from Re:Zero www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fo2M2… {blue haired one}
Age: Much, much older than he appears. He's actually an elderly man.
Relatives: The canon son/offspring of CandyPop the Creepypasta. Mother unknown, has many siblings/other relatives. (Confirmed by the creator, :icondanceofangels:
Orientation: Pansexual+panromantic
Lover: None, currently. He's a man-whore who has flings and never really commits.
Height: 7'7 (Giant, pretty much)
Inspiration: He wears shironuri makeup (a Japanese street fashion), and is based off of the use of stars/moons 'jesters over the moon' tale.
Abilities: Uses illusion {creating multiple images/mirrors of himself, or holographic images of objects or people}, abjuration {blocking/recoiling/banishing}, enchantment {not specialized enough to enchant people or creatures, but moreso small to medium objects}, Elenchus {able to distinguish lie from truth/know when someone is lying}, harmonizing {able to set the mood or setting}, and simple control over magic such as orbs and whatnot. Mostly a simple mixture of many elements, but with no mastery over any. Throwing playing cards and such is favorited.
He is also an alchemist who fails at making positive or healing potions. He's only good at poisons or ones that alter appearances.

Shape Shifting (see more in 'extra')

Weakness to sunlight/the idea of the 'waking morning'.

Has no experience whatsoever with reanimating people, necromancy, healing, physical hand to hand combat, or weaponry.

Race: High elf/fairy/demon
.
Occupation: The 'moon inhabitant'/insomnniac.
Court jester and mage/illusionist. He is also pretty makes a decent alchemist and fashion-designer/makeup artist. However, he is truly just another one of Night Terror's offspring who likes to cause mischief.

Personality:
Blythe is a very eccentric and flamboyant character who likes prancing about and posing femininely in the process. Along with the cheer and laughter he spreads, he also knows all too well how to make someone cry. Usually he is overly upbeat and cheerful, grinning and cracking jokes everytime he speaks. Despite not knowing personal space, he very much dislikes being touched in any way, and will often retort angrily. His mood swings are unpredictable, going from laughing and having fun to chasing an individual around and sending orbs of energy at the newfound 'enemy'. It isn't difficult to trigger a mood switch. He's also very sexual and seductive, and tends to think using sex appeal and vanity will get him places.
A deciever, Blythe back-stabs a lot of people he fakes as a 'friend', compulsively lying to their face and scheming without their knowhow.

History: WIP
Theme Song: WIP

Extras: Huuuuge drunk and closet alcoholic. | Two differently shaped eyes. | A huge clutz. | Needs reading glasses to see, even though he hates wearing them around others due to embarressment. | Really flexible; like a contortionist. | Refuses to eat meat of any kind, but not animal products in general. | Gets extremely offended when referred to as a 'clown', quickly correcting them that he is not a clown, but in fact a jester, which is completely different. | Toes are permanently curled upwards awkwardly, due to always wearing his curly shoes. | Hates being touched in any way without permission. | Often can be found naked in random places. |Complete insomniac. He probably hasn't slept for years, but still manages to function perfectly. |Despises daytime/the sun, but adores night and the moon/stars.| Not just associated with the moon, but a fragment of it.

About the upcoming Pasta:

* Blythe is not only associated with the moon, but merges with or is a direct fragment of it.

* Harken, a middle-aged scruffy knight, is the victim, and it will be from his point of view. He despises the night time, and seems to have a dislike for the moon, as it gives him unpleasant memories.

* Blythe turns into a floral mutant, which is his 'true form'. A humanoid-like form that is impossibly thin (even moreso than his regular disguise), gangly and haunched backwards rather than forwards. With its large, moon-flower shaped head with an unusual swirly large eyeball placed slightly off-center to the middle, It contorts itself in strange positions, and sometimes even bends back entirely until all 'limbs' are rooted to the ground; scrambling about in paranoia. Whoever gazes into its 'eye' finds themselves having to squint, eyes watering like a fountain and turning beat red. Once gotten ahold of, the victim seems absolutely fine. That is, until a minute or so passes. A pounding headache commences, their temples throbbing and feeling like they are being harshly pressed on. Once the heart starts beating at a severely abnormal pace, is when everything worsens. Brain cells pop, blood seeps through all orpheus', and finally, under all the intense pressure, a heart attack or aneaurism takes place.

Not quite to be stressed, though, because the creature has hardly any coordination. They miss extremely regulary, thing pointing to a symptom of insomnia: not being able to focuse properly on tasks, remembering the current situation, and low performance.

* Blythe likes playing a game where he blindfolds/covers the victims' eyes, and multiplies himself into four. Each replica has a set emotion/expression: Joyful, sorrow, rage/hatred, and jealousy. Like an old Japanese school game named Kagome Kagome (Circle You), all four walk in a circle around the person with joined hands, stopping eventually. The original, standing aback, asks which emotion is behind them. Guessing correctly will most likely lead to them succeeding and temporarily living, but guessing wrong means they shall be killed with that emotion being their final feeling, and with that expression upon their face.

* Disguised as your every day court jester, nobody knows his true origins, and how he is the child of a monstrosity named Night Terrors, or Candy Pop.

* The feeling of being trapped in his 'moon land' is very similar to when you've taken laughing gas to go to the dentist. You're very disoriented, groggy, and emotional. You come in and out of conciousness, or nod off easily. This causes an unpleasant feeling of dragging your body and blurry vision that fizzles. It is nearly inescapable, unless you manage to fully wake up and come to terms with your surroundings. It is also extremely soft and warm, which makes one who is already exhausted even more 'comfortable' to sleep in. If you happen to fall into slumber, that is when you are met with one of Blythe's 'trials' or terrors/tortures. Thing is, you cannot die, so this can go on forever. Some have fallen into a vicious cycle of falling asleep, getting terrorized; being wearier than before from the experience; and then falling asleep again; rinse and repeat.

* For some reason, he targets people who are insomniacs, saying "Isn't this what you wanted? To get some long neglected rest?"

* Despite the group he goes after, he has the worst insomnia of all. He hasn't slept for millenia. His droopy eyes and dark circles are meant to be how they are in order to show this.

* He is a slight parody of the 'jester of the moon' tale.
